Handmade red hats raise awareness for heart health

ALBANY — Handmade red knit hats were presented to Capital Region hospitals on Friday as part of the American Heart Association’s Little Hats Big Hearts program to raise awareness about congenital heart defects and heart health Hunting & Fishing.

More than 40 people knitted or crocheted hats for newborns to receive in February Suits & Blazers, which is American Heart Month Clothing.

Ryan Galvin, 5, and Preston Stewart Bras, 3, modeled hats at Albany Medical Center to publicize the donation Golf. Both boys were born with congenital heart defects, the American Heart Association said.
