Founded by Peter Hurley, who has more than 20 years experience of working within the construction industry, in most sectors, including Leisure, Retail, Commercial Office Space, Healthcare, Education, Public Sector and Utilities.
Peter started working within Business Development in 1988, initially securing contracts with Major National House builders and Hotel Groups, before moving to work for M&E contractors where he focused his attentions on end users, Roll out programmes and Frameworks. Decision makers who required a quality service along with a good price and who were interested in building long term relationships. He championed ‘the procurement route’
(less competitors = more profit) as being far more important than ‘prestigious projects’.
Working with Raine Industries; Plumb and then Main Contractor, Hall & Tawse (Mansell) he was their youngest Board Member in the UK. After a very successful period trebling the turnover at their Cheltenham Office he joined John Watson Services where turnover then increased from £1.5m to £6m as a result of newly obtained rolling programmes from buoyant end users. In 2003 he joined Cannock Electrical a £1m local contractor and formed with the owners an M&E design and installation contractor that grew to become a National Specialist Contractor, turnover £15m, with net profits of 10%.
Peter has an extensive network of contacts across a number of leading Blue Chip Clients, design, cost, and project management consultancies. However in such a fast changing climate his ability to identify new clients and workstreams and successfully cold call them has never diminished. Peter is also a leading figure within the Construction Networking FBE.
